Safe & effective techniques

In the comfort of your home

We use a special tool called Video Otoscopy to check your outer ear, ear canal, and eardrum.

Often, the main issue is too much earwax that has become hard and uncomfortable.

We can quickly and gently remove the stubborn earwax using the most up to date technology, leaving you feeling cleaner and healthier.

If we find an infection, we'll refer you to your doctor for treatment. Ear infections can usually be treated with simple medications.

It's normal to have wax build-up from time to time.

We have safe techniques to remove the wax in one visit, using medical grade Olive Oil if needed.

Sometimes we may need to schedule a follow-up visit at no extra cost to finish the removal safely and comfortably.

We also offer hearing screening to check your current hearing levels.

It's important to monitor your hearing to catch any problems early. You can visit us at our practice in North East Area, Newcastle or simply BOOK a visit

Introducing WAXscope

Earwax removal specialist

The WAXscope incorporates a speculum attached to help stabilise, dilate and straighten the ear canal in order to visualise and remove ear wax. The view is comparable to an ENT microscope in terms of magnification, clarity and focus with regards to removing ear wax.

Unlike an ENT microscope, however, that utilises binocular and stereoscopic vision in order to provide depth perception, WAXscope provide a 2D image, and therefore depth perception is achieved via various monocular vision cues. These include motion parallax, depth of motion, relative size, texture gradient, lighting, shadows, etc, and what enables ENT surgeons to perform endoscopic ear surgery without binocular cues.
