How it works

Clear, unrestricted hearing is essential for your wellbeing. We use the ClearWax system with a camera view of your outer ear, ear canal and eardrum on a screen — so you can watch exactly what we see throughout.

Often the issue is simply hardened, uncomfortable earwax. We remove it quickly and gently with microsuction using the ClearWax system, softening with medical-grade olive oil where needed — usually in a single visit. If a follow-up visit is required to finish safely, it's at no extra cost.

If we find an infection, we'll refer you to your GP — ear infections are usually treated with simple medication. We can also screen your hearing at the same appointment to catch any problems early.

Our ClearWax technology — the WAXscope

Our ClearWax system uses the WAXscope, which incorporates a speculum to stabilise, dilate and straighten the ear canal for unrivalled visibility while removing wax. The view is comparable to an ENT microscope in magnification, clarity and focus — the same approach that enables ENT surgeons to perform endoscopic ear surgery.
